Just purchased an S2 IS. Is high speed SD memory recommended? Very open to suggestions.

Thanks

The short answer is yes, it is best to go for higher and faster. You can get more shots at higher quality and you will be able to make the most out of the amazing video mode.

Here is a very good SD card and deal (I have th same one works great)

Enjoy the S2 IS.

Good Day,

I have a S2 with normal speed memory. I can take 25 max quality pics in high speed mode before the buffer is full. I have not yet run into problems with the video mode. (about 2 min worth).

If the price difference is small enough, go for the high speed. Over here its 150% as expensive as the normal speed, so I took a chance.

Hi there,

I use Kingmax Platinum cards (x66) and continuous shooting in daylight is superfast, no problems at all!
