Hi Guys,

I am recently planning to buy a digicam and my choice is narrowed to Canon Powershot A95 as it is a very versatile digicam.I want to know aboutthe picture quality and performance of this camera.

Plz post your valuable comments as early as possible.

Sonai; Since no one has offered you any opinions from your post last Fri., here is my opinion. I don't profess to be pro photog., but the A95 was my first entry into digital. I've since moved up to the S2 IS.

The A95 was a great little camera, very clear sharp pics, and easy to use. My daughter has it now. The only reason I upgraded was because of the optic 12X tele. of the S2.

Hi Sonai,

I bought the A95 a few months ago and have to agree with mackcam that is a super wee camera. Sharp pics, easy to use and has lots of features.

Only downside IMO is the slowish AiAF autofocus system, but this can be worked around using the flexizone focusing.

You may want to wait for the imminent replacement A610/A620. From what I've read, they seem to offer a very good update on performance.
