Default black and white or sepia

How do I shoot black/white or sepia pictures on a s230? The manual says to push a button a couple of times until a menu screen pops up, but I never saw the screen.

Most people shoot in color and change to B&W or sepia in post-processing. That way you have both for future use.

Post-processing is when you use a computer program to change a picture in some way. It can be simply rotating it, cropping, solarizing, resampling, etc. Many digital cameras come with a program to do this, such as Adobe PhotoDeluxe etc. You can also check with your processing outlet to see if they can do B&W or sepia conversions for you.
