Hi all,

I currently have a Canon A620 and while it is undoubtedly is an amazing camera,I am finding the size somewhat cumbersome.

I was wondering if Canon's ultra compacts will producesimilarindoor results in, for example Indoor mode.

I guess what I'm trying to sayis that maybe the A620 is too much camera for me, and thatI will be more suited to P&S,are the smaller cameras (Particularly the Digic II models) comparable to thier A620 cousin?

I think the Digic II processor is in all of their new cameras from pocket sized to DSLRs. Doesn't say much about what cameras you are looking at.

The SD series will perform indoors about the same as your 620. They are all the same f2.8 at wide and the 620 is a little faster at full zoom. The SD500/550 has a slightly stronger flash.

the SD500/550 is a nice choice but its got a limited set of manual controls. though

its a pretty cool cam for point and shoot. but the expandability of the a610/a620 is

just awesome.
