After a lot of searching for features, it looks like the S2 IS may be the camera for me. I've seen plenty of sample photos, and while I gather some folks find the focus to be rather "soft", I find it acceptable. Of course my current camera is a PowerShot A300, so I may just be trained to look at things in a Canon way :-)

In any event, what I haven't been able to find so far have been any samples of video clips. Could some one give me a few pointers to URLs with examples?

Thanks,
Ewan

the video quality is simply great. the only gripe is that the filesize is so large, making it not very feasible to shot video. an 18 sec clip that i shot at 640x480 15fps comes to 19.2MB. there's no compression at all on the video, audio is PCM, so i guess that two factors contributes to the file being large.
