Ok, I am just a photography enthusiast playing with his first camera that has manual controls. I was playing with manual mode trying to get a sunset the other day with my Powershot A610. See a sample below. Composition and location (parked beside a highway :-) ) are not important, just the sunset. I shot this at 1/1250, f3.2 and ISO 200. I like how it came out but I would like to get the foreground to be more visible. What settings would provide what I want without overexposing the clouds?

I can improve it a little bit with post-processing but want to learn how to get it right from the camera.
