Common sense has lost.

Do you know if the A700 has a flip out LCD? I can't get on the canon website, the servers flooded.

They took out the flip out LCD in the A700.:sad:I'd rather have that then a 2.5 LCD. Doubt it has the battery life of the A620, too. But ISO 800 and a 35-210mm zoom is a plus.

If the new 6M sensor is not better than the old ones then I wonder those updates, they seem to be quite minor ones. If Sony H2 or some other model or camera company does not do something and soon these 2006 updates do not produce better images, they are not for those who are updating from last year models... Maybe we will see some real progress in the next year sensors, not just this 1 megapixel update.

Spectral camera is really nice device to capture images without noise, but the amount of data they capture is not possible to process or store inside todays cameras. Colors are also really accurate, but for now we have to live with CCD and CMOS. It is fun and interesting to see what is the next generation sensor technology and if it finally surpasses the quality of the film in every field.
