Well, we will see at the 21th day, I heard that it is true that Canon has 70-75 new products coming. I also have seen S2 IS written as S21S and S-2 1S so it might be authentic...

I know what it means, but I have seen it as 1S, it could be just a typo. If you mean that 70-75 new products (not cameras, includes new printers and stuff) it was from the Canon. The date 21st of january was not from the Canon, so it might be wrong... It says the same in this link (de 70 nuevos lanzamientos / 70 new launchings) so I think it might be genuine webpage that was launched too early.

I broke the rumors up intothree sections:

probaly-

30D

possibly-

3000D, G7

doubtfully-

Pro2, S3IS, Rebel XT replacment, A430, Ixus 60, several other cameras listed on the spanish site.

Why would canon replace the three month old A610? there's a A700 listed on the replacment list.

Common sense...

Common sense lost, but only because I had a really good feeling about these cameras A700 is here because it is a complitely new beast, 6x zoom in a quite a small body, not FZ5/FZ7 killer but still looking really good, especially those low noise promises.

S3IS is also looking good if those low noise promises are true.
