I was using the Canon adaptor with my G6 when the camera stopped working. The lens won't retract into the camera. I smell something burning inside the camera. What happened? Did I fry the camera? Is it fixable? I still have 2 months left on my 1 year warrant.I s this covered? HELP

If you short circuited the camera, it may not be fixable.

It should be covered under warranty - so check with the store from which the camera was bought, and if necessary, send it back to Canon.

If you have a store warranty as well, they usually just replace the camera.

Hope this helps.
