I have had my camera for a few weeks and already having problems. Was out yesterday and whiles taking pictures the camera just stopped working. Initially thought was the batteries but after getting home and changing them it's still not working. At the moment the lense is still out and there is no power. Really ****** off as going on holidays Tuesday morning.
Any ideas please.

Hi, have a look at this link relating to the A610 leading to a little lower down these pages.

http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=15

In miniature equipment I have come across varying sizes of batteries, meaning the length from bottom to the very edge of the top contact with varying brands...you only need a milli meter and you may have an intermittent contact, depending of course on the construction of the contacts in the equipment.

I'm not saying this is the problem that you have but certainly worth bearing in mind, I am looking towards a A610 or the Sony W50, just waiting for the reviews to come out proper, do feel a x4 zoom is far better than a high ISO.
