Is there a way to turn the histgram function off when the picture is replayed immediatley on the screen. I have search the manual but can find no mention of turing it off or on.

I think if you press the DISP button is should cycle through Standard (no Histogram)or Detailed Info (Histogram and Shooting Mode info).

thanks...i thought that would take care of if but it does not...

no matter what display setting I use I get the histogram on the review screen after the shot is taken...



makes it hard to see the picture....

Ok , this works on my SD500:

When you take a picture, keep holding down the Shutter button (this will keep the image you just took showing in the LCD). While holdong the shutter down, press the DISP button, this should toggle off the histogram.

Now try taking a couple pictures, the histogram should have stopped displaying.
