Default Canon G3: how to use fill-in flash.

In which way should i set the flash on the G3 to obtain a fill in effect? I'm a beginner and i've not found clear infos on the manual.

TIA

Just put the camera in program mode, use the Flash button to force the flash to be on and go for it! 9 times out of ten the camera will make the right decisions for you.

If you wish you can hit the Func. button and reduce or increase the amount the flash contributes to the total "light" on the subject. That's about it.
