Default canon ixus400 - my experience with it

just got the canon ixus400 for about a week.

here's a bit of experience on it so far ; like all newbies here, was reading tons of reviews of cameras, yet no ideal what to get, so why did i choose the canon ixus400 .

first , mostly it will be used as a point & shoot camera., will only fiddle with the manuals once a while only (i guess most guys just shoot family photos) , beside the 400 is made in japan (whereas the A60.A70, is made in Malaysia, u will notice the quality difference)

my first experiment with the 400 has disappointing, all the pictures turned out very dark, or total black (indoors shoot) , can't even get the flash to operate (even when i used force flash !)
took the camera back to the dealer (they tried it , & found the camera defective), so they replaced it with a new one.

have been using it for the past few days, excellent pictures.
the aiaf (9 point focus) has been very good, it has kept everything very much in focus !

if u like to know more about a newbie experience with it, let me know. happy to share
