Hi there. I was wondering...i see that the canon s400 elph takes better pics than the s500. the s400 is 4mp, and the s500 is 5mp. I heard that since the sensor size is the same, and the s400 is only 4mp..it takes sharper images. Is this the case?

Now...what if i turn the setting on the s500 down to lets say 'Medium' instead of large Superfine...will i getter sharper images on my computer? (i know that i won't be able to print as large a photo, but will the the way it looks on computer be better with the lower resolution setting?) thank you.
