First...I'm new here and i hope everyone is doing well!

I have been through the manual and played around with the self timer feature many times but have not found a way, if there is one, to do what i'm trying to do.

The situation is that i'm taking pictures of an object on a 360 degree turn table that does not turn itself. It requires me to turn it every degree. Not a problem really, except that i get tired of auto focusing and snapping each degree when it would be GREAT if the camera could snap a shot every 5 seconds or so. Is this possible?

Self time will let you customize the delay BEFORE the shot is taken but when the camera starts snapping photos, each shot is taken within a second of the last. If there is a way to have the camera continuously take shots with a 5 second or so delay between shots, that would be perfect.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Page 107-108 of the manual indicates that the minimum Intervalometer time is 1 minute - I guess that's too long.
