Default "Slow Sync" flash mode in CANON 10D

I'm thinking of purchasing a CANON EOS 10D. I've been a NIKON 990 user for several years and utilize the "SLOW" Flash mode in my NIKON for low-light photos.

I can't find a reference to a similiar flash setting for the CANON. Can anyone tell me if the EOS 10D has such an animal and what it's called?

Many thanks in advance.

It's called the Night Portrait in Canon talk - (page 41 of user manual) slow shutter plus fill flash. The flash system in this camera is much more comprehensive than on the CP990, so don't worry about it! 8) You can also slow down the shutter speed (Tv) or increase the aperture (Av) and the flash will compensate automatically through E-TTL. You can even do a Flash Exposure lock and even wirelessly (page 95 onward) with no sync cord!
