My Z60went in the dogs water bowl:sad:
I took it apart (mostly) and dried it out, cleaned the lens and it appeared to work. But it seems to have problems with the light sensor because a lot of pictures are very bright. Others have horizontal lines. I couldnt' get the front off to clean the sensor because I cant figure out how to get the strap attachment thingy off the side. It goes through a hole in the front of the case. Does anyone know how to get that strap thing off??:-) Thanks |

Well I finally got it apart and the light sensor/meter looks like it is decomposing. Anyone know if/where I can buy parts for a z60?

Thru Casio's website, there was a place on the West Coast that sold new lens assemblies, I think with CCD; but the price was something ridiculous like $180.
I would just buy a broken Z60 on eBay with a cracked LCD or something, and swap lenses. |
