Hi, I currently have a 1GB 150X SD card and I'm thinking about getting a 2GB standard card (I've read that the card speed does not affect HQ movie recording).
My question is, does the SIZE of the card affect shot to shot/startup speed? Can't remember where I read someone saying once you start to have a lot of pictures on the card the startup and shot to shot speed gets affected. I do notice sometimes my shot to shot speed is longer than normal. If anyone has a 2GB as well as a 1GB/512MB/etc and can comment on their experiences it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike |

Welcome to club,
as of my experience no diff between 2GB 150x and 3 year old no-brand 128MB one- had a thread about here or at dpreview some time ago- so the only case is image transfer to comp via good SD reader. Nor are there problems with MPEG-4 video (as opposed to S*ny requirements for ...duo pro... Best and happy shooting, JR |
