hi, it seems you may have inside news on the Lens Error problem, since you say it has been fixed. Wht did Casio do to fix the problem, since I thought it most happens if you press the on button when in case or pocket. Is the z850 have the same set up. Any furture information you may have would be great. thanks

Regarding the lens error problem. There was a number of issues with the z750 all relating to the lens, focusing and operation. Casio seemed to fix this with the z120. Mine has been fine. Some people are whingeing about the 850 and its video capability -- I'm not a big fan of video with compact cameras so I can't comment on that. The 850, however, I think, takes a proprietary battery, which rules it out for me as I travel incessantly, and I hate bulk. Disposable AAs are for me! But if you're happy with a base station and chargers etc and aren't fussed about the video side, then go for the 850. The 8.x megapixel set is nice too. Hope this helps.
