ex-z4 vs. qv-r51
 

im debating which one to get. THey both seem like similar cameras. Which is do you guys think is better? or should i just wait till the z40 comes out?

I have both. Giving the 40 to a cousin. Why, the 51 has better resolution, a huge 2" LCD, and slightly faster. It is worth the difference in price. Don't underestimate that big LCD it is a big difference for macros and composition as a whole.

I think he meant the EX-Z40 not the QV-R40. Both that he mentioned have 2" lcd lol. I had to read twice to check what he meant. But I have just got rid of a QV-R40 for a EX-Z30 (dont need 4mp resolution).
