    I have exhausted all other options, so I'm adding a "me too" to this thread, which seems to be the only link on the internet about anyone having successfully obtained the ex-z40 firmware. Please, if anyone has this firmware for the casio exilim z40, please send it to me. My email username is "karl" and the domain is internetaddress.com.

    this seems to be the only way to get the firmware for the EX-Z40.
