I don't exactly get what the purpose of the Pre-shot mode is. What I came to understand from reading the manual is that you shoot a background first, and then have someone shoot you in front of it while aligning the background with your pre-shot image of the background. Why can't you just have someone take the picture of you against the background without having the background shot first? Is it so you can have the background EXACTLY as you want it? Seems unneccesary to me, but like I said, I may be understanding it wrong. Also, in the case that I'm right, the example in the manual where you shoot a pic of your friend first, and then put yourself in the picture...that would require a third party to take the picture to include you in it? Cuz at first I thot you could take a picture of your friend, and then have your friend take a pic of you, therefore "pasting" yourself into that preshot background...but since the camera does not save the first shot, that's not what's happening, right?
