hey fellas

I accidentaly crashed my EX-1000 LCD and I can't find a place to repair it.

Anyone knows where I can do it near San Francisco, CA?

The camera is still in Casio's warranty but I don't think they'll cover accidental damage...

Thank's for your help.

The Casio Forum at dpreview.com gives many such instances. Seems a very common occurance. I believe it was there that a fellow showed how he replaced his easily himself.

Might check it out and do a bit of googling on the subject.

I'm about to ordera EX-Z850 for my daughter from tech toys without an extended Mack warranty. I can't see $40 for a warranty that won't cover this or the lens gearing and motor due to an accident. I can't justify full price from a store that sells a warranty that does cover it since its then at the break even point If I would have to replace the LCD.
