:sad:My Z750 Exilim camera won't turn on when I press the on/off button. It has worked fine for over a year ---in fact, I have used it every day the past few days. This morning, I downloaded photos to my PC and deleted the photos from the camera. This afternoon, it won't turn on! I put it back in the cradle and connected it back to my PC --- now my PC doesn't recognize it ("one of the USB devices connected to this computer has malfunctioned..")

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks, Barb

I just had a similar projblem with my z850. I tried all of the suggestions from this thread:

None worked, so I called Casio and sent my camera in for warranty repair.
If you are out of warranty, you might try this repair place.

Some people at dpreview.com have recommended them as good and reasonable.

Good luck

I had the same problem... PC USB error left the camera 'dead'. The following worked for me...

Just take the battery out, wait about 30 secs... don't know if the wait was necessary or not.... I also pressed the power button a few times while battery is out (my thought was to flush out any remaining capacitor current... again I have no idea if this was necessary).

Replace the battery and turn the camera back on... hey presto... all was fixed and back to normal for me.

Hope it works for you.
