Recently my LCD screen on my Casio Exilim Z50 started showing two thick white lines along the top of the screen. The camera works fine otherwise, and I can still take pictures, but it's difficult to tell if the flash is on since the white line is blocking it. Do you think it's worth spending the money to get repaired?

If it doesn't bother you enough, perhaps not. You still have the optical viewfinder.

Have you tried resetting the camera by removing the battery for a while? Or by reverting to factory default settings? If you are (very) lucky, it's just a software problem and will go away.

Have you pressed or allowed an object to lean on that particular area, thuscausing a bad sector?
