Hi fishy,

You may want to visit the casio forum of dpreview, because they have many user reviews of the EX-V7, and they are more than willing to answer questions and post samples.

I have an old EX-Z50, and it takes movies in AVI. I love it -- I read on dpreviews that the V7 is disappointing I'm sad because I'm brand loyal to Casio and I wanted a nice pocket-sized high optical zoom camera of fairly good quality. Good luck Fish!

I had my hands on one, in the store and again working and non.

this one I could not go pass go, I had so much trouble trying to see what the spinwheel was on?

I had no trouble when the letters were on settings

Just if I needed to be ready to shootI be using a color code?

why they make things super small for a younger generation , time for glases?

one store secured thecover? the other allowed to be opened? that I like b/c I carry my other hybrid , whip the sd card out andgrab samples?

sony leans towards my sore eyes and that I may use my Creditcard miles on 7.2

circuit city and bestbuy hadtheirsales on this? under 400.00 got you two pkgs

tipodcse and battery and a gift card of 25.00 next puchse? offering a gift card, would mean negotiating the price on the spot? you are paying 25.00 plus tax to them to re-purchase, later?

Fathers day is soon, and Independence will also have some sales? I am awaitig?

I will go and sample in hand if I can gt a working one, I did get one powered but currupted , does that mean they will break?

Its a dawggy world. In my hands and at a dark day ready to shower i think just taking these two shots one in the highest movie mode and do not know the pic setting, but soon to learn?

happy I can see the spinwheel, and figuresome things out, Just that my pcdoes not accept a sdhc card ? nor the usb2 driver LOL

lucky me when I Purchased the 4 gig sdhc it came with a 2.0 interface adaptor all is fine there.

hybridis a lil heavy but hey i know I got a tank in hand not a feather.

pro's may outway the con, andcannot comment on anythingbut sure looks like a powerful lcd screen. enjoy the sample s
