I'm having a little trouble with the video from my Casio Exlim Z-750. After upgrading my computer, I'm no longer able to convert the .avi files to a format I'm able to use in other standard video applications.

The new computer is a Mac Book Pro running OS X and Windows Vista Ultimate (running through Parallels).

I'm willing to go with either Mac applications, or a Windows solution. I'm just not sure why it won't work as it did on my old XP machine.

Try these two freeware utilities:

To play the movies in WMP: use ffdshow

http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow

(this may help you to play many other video formats)

To enable your Exilim movie for editing with your current softwares: use MP4CAM2AVI

http://mp4cam2avi.sourceforge.net/

(converts your movie to DIVX AVI format that most modern video editing softwares will recognize)
