HI,

I am considering the purchase of a Casio EX-Z1050.

Can anyone tell me how this model compares in size and weight to the S-600. I have held one of these in my hand and I am aware of its super compact size, I just want to make sure the EX-Z1050 is not too much of a bulky package.

Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,

Rob.

The S600 is 5.1 cu/in and the Z1050 is 7.1 cu/in. The biggest difference is in thickness at 0.63 inches compared to 0.9.

I can't find an old archive showing the S600 weight with batteries. Without batteries the S600 is 4.06 oz. The Z1000 is 4.9 oz without batteries. The Z1050 is 5.8 oz with battery and card – probably about the same as the Z1000.

You can do a side by side comparison at this web site:

Looks like it's slightly thicker and heavier than the EX-S600.
