Hi,

Im looking to buy a new digital camera that can recored good quality movies with a resonable filesize. I have been looking at the exilim range. On there website it states that the max duration of each movie is 10 mins [1] . But the Steve's Digicams review [2]says:
"The length is only limited by the capacity of your memory card and the life of your battery."

Can anyone confirm which is correct?

Regards

Ben Short

This is not the first time we have seen something about this. I'm looking intoit now. The USA site (which is where we get our Info) doesn't say anything about a max clip length. I believe we still have this camera, so if need be I will test it personally.

We will keep you posted, and if necessary update the review.

Thanks forvisiting the site!

We've testedour EX-Z1080 model, and it does stop recording at the 10 minute mark in both UHQ and UHQ Wide modes. We will be updating our review asap.

Thanks for your help!
