Default ex-m20 hotspot

Hi. I am considering buying an ex-m20 and have read the reviews in this site. I am very concerned about the 'hotspot' mentioned in steve's review, however. There is no mention of the 'hotspot' in the ex-s20 review, and considering that the two are identical camera-wise, I am wondering if steve just got a lemon for his review. It is very counterintuitive that a consumer electronics giant like casio would ship out products with such an obvious and correctible flaw.

If anyone owns an ex-m20 or an ex-s20, I would appreciate some comments. Thanks.

After two years, the Casio ex-m20 just stopped working. The camera will not turn on. Casio builds bad camera. I used a new NP-20 battery and still no luck!
