hey all,

I recently purchased my casio qv-r40 and it is pretty good so far. i like the 'best shots' feature. it took me a while to find a good setting for some pictures. some "best shots" were good, but some just sucked.

anyway, i took pictures of fireworks and they came out HORRIBLE. i dont know how to describe the pictures, but it seems that when i took the picture i was shaking the camera so hard that you could see the trail of fireworks all over the picture.

so my question is, how can i adjust the setting and take a good picture? im new to digital camera and all the terms (aperture, iso, f-size,etc,etc). i will check out the newbie section and read more.

but please post suggestions!!!

Thank You!!

You'll need a tripod to prevent the blur that wascreated from your hand movement. I have a QV-R40 too, and with my tripod the fireworks come out fantastic... Or you can get a table tripod and put it on top of your car or on a wall and take it... its about the same thing, hope this helps
