Hi every-one

I bought the Z40 following reading reviews particulary on this site. It does the work I require of it, being immediately available, easily carried, unobtrusive when attending events/meetings etc. However I tested in in dear old England when the sun was not very bright and then took it to Florida and quickly realised that I could not see the LCD screen when forming my picture. I tend to use the "Monitor Screen" rather than the "Viewfinder" to determine the picture composition. Have I missed some "gizmo" to make the screen more visible in bright sunlight. How does every one else deal with this problem?

Best Regards, Quintain.

Hi,

I occasionally have the same problem, as far as I am aware there is no "fix", you either have to use the viewfinder or attempt to shield the screen with your hand. I suppose the only answer is a camera that has a fold-out and tilting screen, if there are any?

Regards, Jeff

Thanks Jeff

Perhaps casio should market the camera as "not very good for use in sunlight". I am annoyed at this situation and amazed it was not identified in tests (including my own)

Hi everyone!

I recently bought a Z 40, and I am really upset!

When I do small films outdoor, and the sun is shining, the right bottom of the LCD stays pink!

I took the camera to be repaired, and they told my that it is normal!

I dont´t know anyone who has this camera, só can you please help??

Does this also happen to yours??

Thanks
