Hi,

Just got casio s100 - nice camera but on some of my pictures I seem to be getting these random spots on it. These are completly random as far as I can see.

I have taken 3 pics of the same wall, two haves spots on in random places and one is perfect.

Any ideas what could cause this? / how to solve it?

Thanks

Matt

what kind of spots?

Dark spots or colored spots?

Dark ones are probably dirt on the sensor, and show up depending on your focal point of the shot.

Colored ones that look like pixels on an LCD monitor cannot be fixed. This is sometimes warranteed by the camera manufacturer however depending on how many of them there are.

The spots are coloured. Similar to the colour of the background. Will have to post a piccy tonight when I get home.

The spots show up on the actual pictures on a computer. There too small to see on the LCD screen.

I was thinking it could be condensation on the lens or something. I will probably have to try some more pictures to see.
