That web site is in Russia and you have to login anyway. I probably won't flash it then anyway I'll just live with the small inconvenience. Thanks for letting me know about the 1 GB card. I love my QV-R40, everytime I come back from vacation and get my pictures printed I'm always blown away by the quality.

Sorry too for not explaining the steps to reinstall the firmware. The only one reason is that in order to give the best instructions, i would need to try again on my own camera, but I don't want to risk crashing it one more time...
