Just get this small guy, it looks great. Casio has very bad manual, almost no explaination about the functionality. Does anyone know how to turn on/off the date which can print inside the picture? I have never used Casio camera before. I know each picture associates to a date and other info, but I want the date on the picture when I download to the computer for storage. Thanks.

Sorry to disappoint you this camera cannot do date or time stamp.

As for the manual the CD that came with the camera has a PDf file for the camera manual. Which is better than the quick reference guide that you are referring to.

Thanks for the info. Is there any software which can put the date stamp for a group of pictures, not individual?

Focus noises are typical in these credit card sized cams but you can make adjutments to stop the focusing in movie mode. It can get really disturbing in quiet environments while taking movies.

If you turn off the AF, such as using infinitive, PF, etc., the noise will disappear. Guess it is kind of focus process. Still, I love the camera. I can easily put it inside a credit card wallet.

When you leave auto focus on during movie making in a quiet environment and listen to that movie on a TV monitor you may change your mind about it being not annoying. That's why I again recommend manual mode when possible in quiet environments. I do not doubt that it is the same with other pocketable cams.
