Hi yall

My first post yayy!!!!

Anyhow after much research i bought the CASIO EX-Z750 (MADE IN JAPAN) and just updated the firmware to the latest 1.01 version.

However ive been noticing something and dont quite know if thats normal or not.

When ever the camera does a RAPID ZOOM IN with the lens i notice bubble like effects on the LCD screen. It looks similar to like when u press your finger on an LCD SCREEN.

It only does this in RAPID ZOOM IN eg When u switch from Photo mode to say AUDIO ONLY mode and the lens zoooms in rapidly.

Otherwise its perfect and you never notice it and nothing else as far as i can tell is wrong.

It seems to me like its something internal maybe something touching the screen? the lens doors closing ?

ANYONE ELSE NOTICED THIS ON THEIRS?

What to do?

No matter where the zoom is, when I switch from snapshot to audio I instantly get the normal audio screen. And I get nothing like you describe. I have a Chinese camera.

Hi Evangelionpunk,

I've not seen this either. My best guess would be the wires on the back of the LCD Assembly are not in place properly and they're creating some pressure on the back of the LCD.

I wouldn't worry too much if it's minimal, but if it looks like lots of presure on the LCD you may want to send it in. I know CASIO would cover this under warranty, but they will NOT cover any LCD cracks after the fact!

k.

GOt it fixed today.

Apparently it was a lack of "shielding" for some reason that caused it.

Now it looks fine.
