Hello,

I just wanted to let you know that I have just released version 1.9.1 of my BESTSHOT editor, called BestMan.

Here is what is new in version 1.9.1:
- Minor update: Fixed a bug that prevented BESTSHOTS for Exilim Card S500 to be working

As always information and download at the BestMan Homepage at:
http://www.sassenfeld.de/software/be...bestman_e.html

General information what BestMan is good for:
BestMan allows you to create or modify custom BESTSHOT scenes as per your requirements.

Planned for the upcoming releases:
- Module that allows to convert any pictures to the correct format to be viewable in the camera
- Adding Text to a BESTSHOT graphic right away in BestMan

Best regards - MacSass

Hi,

I just found out that Casio has changed the parameters completely for the S500 BESTSHOT files.

I´m working on a new BestMan version taking this into account - until then BestMan is not compatible with the Exilim Card S500.

Best regards - MacSass

I just got a Z750 and to my suprise Casio did not include Coupling Shot scene mode!

Is there any way to include this wonderful BestShot feature using BestMan?

Hello,

I´m afraid this is not possible because the firmware does not contain the required routines - Casio obviously has replaced them with the new image manipulation options like "pastel".

Hi MacSass

Could the routines be copyed from the firmware of a Casio camera

with Coupling Shot scene mode? I know firmware for my Lite-On LVW-5005 was

hached to record in LP (3hr) and other goodies. Could that be done to firmware

of Z750, add the routines for Coupling Shot?

Thank You

Hi,

I´m afraid it is unlikely that somebody will get so much insight that he manages to do that. I don´t want to rule out it might be possible - but I guess you might ruin a couple of cameras trying to do so.

From a fist glance it looks like coupling- and pre-shot are back with the new models Casio just announced.

Best regards - MacSass
