I recommend returning it directly to CASIO to avoid doble handling. That way you can deal directly with CASIO and ask them any furthur questions you may have.

That's interesting. Has anyone contacted the lawyers?

I returned my camera to casio, they replaced the lens, and returned it to me...No lens error since I've had it repaired.

Z750mg

Serial no. 6004xxxF

Made in China

Bought a week ago. Comes with leather case and 512mb Toshiba sd card. 350 plus shots taken so far. No lens error. Only 1 prob: LCD is slightly pressed from the inside when lens retracts while viewing pics. Hope it's not a harbinger of future LCD failure.

Using 1 gig Kingston Elite Pro sd card.

I bought mine in August, and it does the exact same thing. So far, no sign of any further problem from it. It does not seem to be connected to the lens error issue. My unit has had a lens error message appeara couple of times when the lens was blocked, with no apparent after effects.

my unit was also made in China, serial number 1018xxxA

Went back to the store to exchange it. The three other sets I tried had the same problem (all made in China). Only the demo set (made in Japan) did not. After fully testing it, I took the demo set (serial no. 4001xxxF). Hopefully all will be well with this one.

Just a thought....... I wouldn't buy the z750 online as I won't be able to test it out before plonking down my $$$. Buying from a store also means that I can get the set replaced almost immediately should there be any probs with it.
