Hi All

Sorry for my poor English

< Two days I was with my Casio camera. " Lens error ". >

What was with my camera. One week ago " lens error "NOT in my pocket.Fault was I keep my fingers not in good place. After them all work OK.Saturday another " lens error ". Again my fingers not in good place. OK. That was finnish for my camera .Turning ON my camera all was OK but when pushing 3/4 optical zoom camera freeze and return to OFF with " LENS ERROR ".

Today Icall oneFoto Service and response from him was - repair lens - 150$ :evil:. What I doo when I return home ?

Second time the same ( first was month ago ) Firmware-Updateand - RESETcamera to deafult value and marvelous .

It`s working w / o " LENS ERROR ". Zoom, macro, normal focus, everything.

Camera Made in China S/N 2015281F from USA,july, ~ 600 pictures. I live in Romania

Best regards and I want to hear from you if your " lens error " disappear.

PS. My card is TwinMos 2gb 66X and has nothing to do with " lens error ".

Another " Lens error ".

Sorry for my first mail. Now I`m waitng for confirmation If I have in Romania warranty.

try upgrading the firmware. maybe that will help. its worth a shot.

Yes, you'll probably need to have the lens replaced. If there are no signs of visible damage to the lens CASIO will cover the repair under warranty. Return it to them immediately so you can have the repaircovered by their warranty. If you return to Romania first, well, good luck...

Just want to check if you have disable the 'REC/PLAY' function from 'power on' to 'off'? Or have you accidentaly block the lens? Want to see if disable the 'REC/PLAY' power on will still get lens error easily..... Thanks andwishyour camera well. Cheers.

If you purchased the camera in Romania & are travelling to any other country you must carry the Tourist warranty card + proof of purchase & it will be covered under warranty.

Within the country of purchase you must go back to the place of purchase.
