Hi,

I noticed that every time when I switched to view picture mode, the lens will auto retract after a few seconds then I will see the centre of the LCD being pressed from the inside by the lens.... Is this normal? Please post if your z750experience this too? Or should I return to change another set?? :?Thanks.

There is a thread on the Casio forum from a couple of months ago where someone else was experiencing that same thing. Nobody else who replied was experiencing the problem.

If the camera is new you might consider exchanging it. It is one of those things that might never really cause problems, but one never knows.

Just went back to the shop to change, tried two more sets, also have the same effect, sigh... the lens pressing the LCD effect is only a littleatspilt sec. when lens retract, after that its normal again, even the shop people didn't quite notice it. Anyway, did not change in the end. :OHa Ha.

Also mine is made in China, v 1.0 set. Have upgraded to v1.01.

My LCD is also effected by the retracting lens, but only on the left side, and of course, very briefly. It looks like the effect you get when you lightlytouch a soft laptop screen. I doubt most people would even notice it. My camera was also from China, with the original firmware, now upgraded. Hopefully, it won't cause any future issues.

Mine too. So very slight though. I had to view a black screen just to detect it.
