I paid $249.99 plus taxes, came out to about $284.00. Where did you get yours? Bought mine at futureshop. Had to line up for 45 mins at the cash register to pay. All in all i'm happy with my purchase. A great camera. Never would thought I buy a Casio digital camera, but then again never thought I would buy a samsung tv. hehe how time has changed.
Whoops got my price wrong, I lined up for boxing day at FutureShop as well It was $250 and not $299

AND a very beautiful camera....

There has been some trouble connecting these cameras to computers. The two issues I've seen are:

1) The USB Cable is not being inserted all the way (it should click and you should see next to no metal).
2) Also, it seems some of them are not coming with a USB Mode set. It says the camera is set to Mass Storage in the menu, but it won't connect. Switching it to PTP and back to Mass Storage fixes the problem. It doesn't happen again after that.

Wade: Not really, it does support DPOF printing which you can turn on in the play menu. If you have a printer that supports it, you can print your pictures with the date stamped on it.

Also, I want to revise my initial post on troubleshooting the connection. It appears you do not need to change the USB setting, you simply need to attempt to connect the camera. When it doesn't connect, leave it connected. Eventually it will say "Check Connection" on the camera screen. Try it again, it should work.
