Hi all,

Just wondering what's done (if anything) to the faulty z750s that have been returned to the stores/shops. Are they merely recycled and sold to the next unlucky shopper? Or are they sent to Casio for repair and then sold as refurbished/new units?

Just a guess, but they are probably fixed and sold as refurbs. (as long as the exterior is in good condition) Ubid had a bunch of Z750's (and other models)they were selling as refurbs - I bought one and I love it. The lens section seems sturdy and functions well. I was happy with the deal at $285. There is a reconditioned sticker right on the camera.

Thank you for the input, Sue. With such liberal return policies, some stores might just put the returned (and possibly faulty) cams back on the shelves to be sold. Hopefully, that isn't the case.
