I am looking at buying a Casio Exilim EX-Z120. My only concern is print quality. I like to do landscape and macro photos. I also like to print these out - 4x6 to 8x10 - after cropping most of my pics. Any feedback on the print quality would be greatly appreciated!

I think the camera is certainly ok for that if you have the required minimum post-processing cababilities.

I bought an EX-Z120 from Costco (cheap) and I AM pleased with the picture quality and features.
I also have a Fuji S9000 for going out on photo expeditions, but just going out with nothing in mind, the little Casio drops neatly in my pocket and goes everywhere.
Oh, I do NOT print directly from the Casio (Pictbridge) but from my computer's Photoshop.

I find the costs of printing pictures yourself far outweighs the cost to just take it in to a proffesional place.

I have some printing paper, which do get quality pictures (though with cost of paper and ink, it costs me more money in the end), but not quite as good as the fujifilm lab I take them too.

Though heres a warning, FORGET macro if you buy the Z-120, at 10cm focal length it is basically useless for macro pictures. But with 7 MP, you can easily crop half the picture and still get a good looking 8x10!

the print quality is simply suberp. I tested the z120in the store and took some pictures on my sd card i came home and printed two pictureson a lexmark photo printer. exactly what was shown on the lcd was what i got printed out no ugly surprises. very good camera.

thank you kim
