does anybody get a clicking noise during playback of movies? i noticed it happens at the begining and end of the zoom function.

i didn't know if this was normal, or i should exchange the camera. (i returned a kodak because of the loud noise during movie zoom.)

thanks!

Sorry, this is Yourself clicking the zoom button- microphone is inside of camera and very sensitive to all sounds from buttons. BTW as the zoom is digital, it IMHO worsens the video so much that no need to use it at all...

Best, JR

If zoom during video is needed from compact digital camera- then why not Casio P505?

You've got it already, S600 is a superb choice for an ultracompact
