hi there,

got an S600 which i connect to my pc using the cradle. however, while i'm copying files, it will often (not every time) "lock up", giving me a "unable to read file *****.jpg" error. when i try to look back in the camera folder (as a universal mass storage drive F:/) its empty.

if i take the battery out the camera, put it back in, power on and off, i can reconnect and the pictures are still there - until it locks up again.

tried formatting the card, tried it on another pc, tried it with a different card, tried different programs (windows explorer, picasa, etc) - still happens, but not every time.

anyone else got this? or do i have a fautly camera?

I would say you have a faulty camera. Call Casio support.
