Hi,

there is version 2.7.0 of BestMan available which now supports the Casio Exilim Zoom Z1000.

Additionally the new version now allows to set higher ISO values for selected models:

- ISO 800, 1600 and 3200 for Exilim Zoom Ex Z850 and Z1000

- ISO 800 for Exilim Zoom EX-Z750

Anyone interested in trying out high ISO for the following models:

- S500, S600, Z500, Z600 and S500 and S600 please get in touch with me.

Best regards - MacSass

Mac-

Can you explain if BestMan is a software program or what? Where can I find it? And how do I use it with my Casio Z-1000.

Hi,

you are right - BestMan is a software program for the PC to create and modify BESTSHOT files. BESTSHOT files are basically presets - the camera already has a lot of them built in.

The advantage of BestMan is that you can create presets for things that are not available from the menu, e.g. higher ISO values or special color enhancements.

You can find more information on the BestMan homepage (e.g. in the help section), which you should find easily from Google - sorry - no direct linking here.

Regards - MacSass

Hi,

I´m fairly sure we can get higher ISO values on a couple of more models from Casio.

Anybody owning one of the following models:

EX-Z500, EX-Z600, EX-S500, EX-S600, EX-Z110/120, EX-P600

and willing to try this out please get in touch with me and I provide you with the respective BESTSHOT files for ISO 800, 1600 and 3200 for a test.
All I ask in return is that you send me three pictures taken with those - so we can see which ISO values work for the respective models.

So far the following values have already been confirmed:
Z1000: ISO 800, 1600 und 3200
Z850: ISO 800, 1600 und 3200
Z750: ISO 800
Z5: ISO 800, 1600 und 3200
P700: ISO 1200

Best regards - MacSass
