still trying various settings to come up to your standard,
but i think i am getting there, it has been a long hard road i can tell you that,
i am pleased with my progress though, there is a marked improvement in my techniques,

Hi Rambot. Assuming your main subject is the green plant, I am afraid that your focus is well beyond the top of the plant. The ground is in clear focus but none of the plant. I don't know what camera/lens you are using but it looks like you may be trying to work closer than the minimum focusing distance for that lens.
