Default Aphid Farmer

Ants farming aphid nymphs. The aphid nymphs feed on the plant but have inefficient digestion systems so they excrete high volumes of “honeydew” that the ants gather with their antenna and consume. The ants roam over the aphid “fields” taking care of them and protecting them from predators. (as I kept finding out when I’d try to hold the limb of the cottonwood tree still in the wind for pictures, the ants would immediately aggressively investigate my hand disturbing the limb.)

That is pretty awesome, really good behaviour captures and pretty sharp too. I recon a cheapo diffuser from flee bay could help make his already great image even better, as I might soften the light and spread it out a little also giving less extreme shadows.
