Yes...That is a cucumber. Lack of imagination and kitchen supplies ;) | Good old boring gray grass from a nearby gravel road. I used a macro extension for this shot

Your sharing site presents me with a large notice in the middle of the image, and some porno ads... :(

Difficult for me to say anything about these image (and your other thread in landscapes). Even if these distractions weren't there, I would have to down load the image in order to actually see it.

Sorry about that site.
Although for me the site doesn't show any porn ads :S weird.

I'll use the embedded Image importer on the forum from now on... seems more agile :)

BTW: What other thread in landscapes?

Ahh, my bad, the thread in Critiques. You first HDR attempt. Gave me a pop-up to "Adult Friend Finder," including an animation... :(

But even without the big center notice or the pop-up, how can I actually see the whole image without downloading it?

I believe the site asks for no larger than 800 at the longest side.

LOL!

I like them both. I suspect the cucomber lost some of it's green by being translated for the web.

Image two, would be suberb, but parts of it are "soft." On a shot like this, you have to increase the DOF.

I like them both.
The drink looks very refreshing, it's 92 degrees here today...
Just my opinion but, I think the DOF on the grass gives it a more pleasing look but, what do I know.http://usera.ImageCave.com/myplace46...s/confused.gif
I wouldn't mind having another cold drink though! :D

If you download the cucumber image, you will see how much green was lost in the translation to net colors. If you find it refreshing as seen, wait till you see the version on your desktop. :)

I don't know if I made a mistake on the cucumber picture, because I sliced it VERY thinly. It's about 1 mm thick. That may be the cause of the decolorising. And also my lighting was very limited. Barely had sun in between gray clouds and wrong shutter speed IMHO.

But I got it as my desktop wallpaper and it fits very nicely for me :)

Here's an improvement (In my eyes, it is ;))
