Default Crepe Myrtle

Captured this in the front yard, trying to improve my abilities. Any thoughts for improvement?

Thanks for looking!

Well, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that has a little trouble getting a really good shot of this tree. Seems like between the wind blowing, the sun too harsh and so hot the sweat's running down my face and all over the camera...
I never could get a shot in focus.

This one wasn't too bad but, not as in focus as I was hoping for. The bee was accidental.
f:8 1/90 ISO 200 no flash.

I finally clipped a branch and took it indoors. I put it on a stand and set up my tripod. Used my Pentax K20 and AF 540 flash with an Lmniquest softbox defuser.

This was one of my favorites with the exception of the dying petals top center. f:16 - 1/250 ISO 100. SP 28-80mm with 2X TC.

SP 28-80mm f:8 - 1/4000 ISO 100, no TC

Still not real happy with these but, better than my outside shots.

Life's a breeze on a Goldwing...
